Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Creative Project Manager to oversee and shepherd creative initiatives across two iconic American lifestyle brands: Brooks Brothers and Nautica.

  • In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of creative project delivery, keeping high-volume day-to-day retail production running smoothly while managing timelines and asset deliverables for high-profile multi-channel campaigns. You will partner closely with brand & integrated marketing teams, internal creative leads (Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers), channel teams, and external agencies and vendors to establish clear workback plans, track deliverables, and ensure flawless execution.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong creative operations discipline from an apparel, fashion, or retail background, with proven expertise managing site, CRM, media, print production, and complex campaign schedules.
Primary Responsibilities

Creative Project Management for Business-As-Us-… – 50%

  • Recurring Workflows: Manage end-to-end production workflows for ongoing digital and promotional initiatives across both brands, including bi-monthly site flips, category landing page updates, CRM/email campaigns, promotional assets, paid media, signage requests
  • Print Trafficking: Manage in-store signage requests and print materials and collaborate directly with print vendors on specs, proofs, pre-press timelines, and physical delivery schedules.
  • Intake & Resourcing: Review incoming briefs and creative requests from Merchandising, E-Commerce, and Channel Leads; scope requirements, evaluate creative capacity, assign resources, and establish achievable milestones.
  • Review Cycles & Approvals: Facilitate review touchpoints with Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Marketing and requestor stakeholders; consolidate cross-functional feedback into clear, actionable revisions through final sign-off.
  • Asset Handoff: Ensure strict adherence to retail launch dates and channel specifications, managing final asset routing and trafficking to web development, marketing ops, and distribution teams without error.
Integrated Marketing Campaign Project Management (40%)
  • Workback Plans & Milestone Visibility: Build, maintain, and publish detailed campaign workback schedules for seasonal tentpoles, capsule drops, and milestone marketing initiatives (e.g., Spring/Summer, Fall/Holiday, and brand activations). Ensure high visibility across cross-functional teams so stakeholders know precisely what they must brief and by when.
  • Campaign Brief Deliverables Management: Track and oversee the execution of all creative deliverables tied to campaign briefs across channel teams (Paid Media, CRM, PR, Visual Merchandising/Retail, Social, and E-Commerce) from brief kickoff through production.
  • Timeline & Roadmap Tracking: Manage master production schedules for multi-asset campaign suites across digital, print collateral, in-store window graphics, direct mail, and video assets. Partner closely with shoot & post production teams for timeline development.
  • Risk Mitigation & Issue Escalation: Proactively flag production bottlenecks, competing brand deadlines, or resourcing deficits. Formulate pragmatic contingency plans and elevate critical path blockers to creative leadership with clear solutions.
Asset Distribution and Coordination (10%)
  • SLA & Channel Distribution: Ensure strict adherence to retail launch dates and channel specifications; manage final asset routing, quality checks, and packaging for web development, marketing ops e-commerce, and social media teams without error.
  • Agency & External Partner Coordination: Serve as the central coordination point between internal creative teams, external creative agencies, performance media partners, and production houses—aligning on delivery schedules, clarifying technical asset requirements, and managing handoffs.
  • Asset Management: Ensure completed and approved creative files are systematically cataloged, tagged according to brand naming conventions, and archived for clean cross-functional access.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related discipline
  • 5+ years project management experience from an in-house creative services role or agency project/account management role with a strong understanding of creative development and production process (digital, print, and broadcast)
  • Must be an effective relationship builder to establish credibility and form business partnerships with internal partners
  • Logically plan and sort out information coupled with being nimble and flexible with quick reaction and performance under deadline pressures
  • Experience managing processes, resources and schedules with a strong sense of urgency and ability to problem-solve and be resourceful
