Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Manager of Instructional Design to lead enterprise-wide learning initiatives in Las Vegas. You will design, govern, and continuously improve training programs that align with business goals and employee development.

You will coach a team of instructional designers, apply adult learning principles, and partner with SMEs and the LMS team to deliver scalable solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience in corporate training.
• 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate).
• Master's degree preferred; hospitality/gaming context a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, development, governance of enterprise learning solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of instructional designers.
• Develop governance practices; apply ADDIE, SAM, action mapping, design thinking.
• Create learning content across ILT, VILT, e-learning, microlearning, videos.
• Partner with SMEs and LMS administrator for content deployment.
• Balance multiple projects with deadlines and stakeholder expectations.

This role is responsible for managing a team of instructional designers while establishing methodologies and best practices that ensure learning programs are engaging, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
