The Manager, Inside Sales Assay is responsible for increasing sales revenue by positioning assays to a customer base with existing Siemens instrumentation while growing the portfolio. The Manager of the Inside Sales Assay team managers a team of Inside Sales representatives who focus on adding assays to Siemens exiting customers.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy managing people, understand consultative selling, are achievement-oriented and will think outside-the-box to exceed annual sales goals through strong collaboration with distribution partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, and works well in a diverse team and enjoys a dynamic and changing environment. This role works remotely.

Your Role

  • Works with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure talent is utilizing best practices to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Manages a team of 9 Inside Sales Representatives
  • Manages Inside Sales Representatives including quality, compliance, and attendance
  • Gather, processes, and share competitive market data with leadership and internal counterparts
  • Works closely with Sales Training to develop training material for team
  • Develop sales plans to meet and/or exceed set sales quota
  • Ability to build and manage a sales funnel
  • Responsible for monitoring calls to develop and motivate Inside Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives
  • Works collaboratively with internal departments (Field Sales, Technical, and Marketing) to efficiently maximize utilization of resources
  • Monitors and ensures call reporting in CRM
  • Achieve specified sales metrics including calls and CRM activities
  • Strong Coaching and Mentoring skills
  • Participates in the recruiting and hiring process of new Inside Sales Representatives

Your Expertise

  • Minimum 3 year experience in full cycle sales (i.e. Account Executive, Inside Sales Rep) preferred
  • Lab Diagnostics product knowledge required
  • Ability to manage and lead a high performing Inside Sales Team
  • Ability to self-manage
  • Proven track record of success with an assigned sales quota
  • Skilled in sales/negotiating/generating leads
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to adapt
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative in business situation
  • Proficiency utilizing a CRM system
  • Strong closing skills
  • Solid sales presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and ability
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to manage conflicts and escalated issues
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The Annual Base Pay For This Position Is

Min $76,000 - Max $114,000

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
