Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a Manager Information Technology – End User Services for an onsite role in the Denver Metro area. The position leads Desktop Support, Field Service, and AV teams, supporting daily operations and strategic objectives.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED with 5 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in leadership. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive UCHealth benefits and a strong focus on end-user service excellence.

Manager Information Technology – End User Services

Location:UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora

Department:UCHlth End User Services

Work Schedule:Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift:Days

Pay:$57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Candidates must reside in the Denver Metro area, regional travel is required.

Summary

Manages the daily operations of the department or assigned area/function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.
  • Manages information systems installations, conversions, and upgrades. Evaluates need for upgrades or changes to existing systems and recommends cost-effective hardware/software solutions.
  • Manges the Desktop Support Team, Field Service Engineer Team, and Audio-Visual Teams
  • Manages escalations and is a liaison with Customers, executives, and IT
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
