Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Information Systems Engineer Manager (Level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position requires an on‑site presence in Georgia, USA; this is not a telework/remote position. In this role you will act as a Control Account Manager (CAM), managing information system functions for planning, optimization, configuration, and integration of diverse Information Technology (IT) disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, select, and modify application software, network and desktop solutions, RF communications, and specialized IT weapons systems.
- Install network hardware and software; manage database integrity.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for practical application of system characteristics.
- Coordinate delivery of services to user groups and ensure IT service continuity.
- Manage, operate, and sustain complex IT systems for the customer.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain a trained and ready staff capable of working across programs to provide surge support as necessary.
- Leverage required experience and practical application of diverse IT solutions, operations, configuration management, and data documentation.
- Prepare proposals, bases of estimates, and manage a Statement of Work (SOW); interpret the SOW to find effective solutions and coordinate with customers, peer group managers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop training and career development pathways for assigned staff; prepare and standardize processes to improve business operations and staff training.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a HS Diploma/GED and 9 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience OR a Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule that includes extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and on‑call status for 24 hours‑a‑day, 7 days‑a‑week, 365 days a year.
- Ability to meet medical requirements and pass a physical for worldwide travel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and accept customer‑furnished quarters for up to 90 days away from the primary work location.
- Ability to maintain customer requirements for deployment capability.
- Attend and maintain DoDI 8570 certification if offered employment.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance (background investigation completed within the last 2 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time.

- Experience with Solaris 10 Unix Operating Systems.
- Principles of UNIX/Linux design and implementation.
- All Windows Server and Desktop versions.
- Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL Oracle RAC.
- Microsoft SMS and SCCM 2007.
- Windows Deployment Services implementation and management.
- Redundant offsite storage capabilities, implementation and management.
- Wide Area (WAN) and Local Area (LAN) networking.
- Group policy design, testing and implementation.
- Netware Directory Services.
- High Availability Clustering Solutions.
- Exchange design and implementation.
- Radio Frequency Transmission Systems.
- Satellite Communications Systems.
- Agile.
Compensation
Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 – $189,800.00. The stated range represents a general guideline; base salary offers may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and, for certain senior positions, long‑term incentives.
