Job summary

The Chambers Logistics Terminal (CLT) in Baytown, TX is offering a two-year High Potential program with rotations across the complete supply chain from textiles to e-commerce. You will work within a global logistics provider, gaining exposure to multiple projects and networking with colleagues worldwide.

As a participant, you will start with an introductory period and may be assigned a key role in the Consumer Goods Business Unit after proving your leadership and project skills.

Job description

The Chambers Logistics Terminal (CLT) in Baytown TX, has a storage capacity of 650.000 m² and a future expansion possibility of more than 1,2 million m². With a master plan of 2 million m² of storage space and +/- 4.000 hopper car spots. This multi-customer logistics platform is in proximity to the Port of Houston and has excellent connections to Grand Parkway 99 and HWY 146 and railroads served by Union Pacific and BNSF. This aligns with Katoen Natie's philosophy of strategically pursuing properties with multiple access, providing a competitive advantage for our customers.

For a period of two years or less, the High Potential will follow an intensive and varied program involving the complete supply chain flow of goods distribution from several business lines such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, sporting goods, and e-commerce. Within this program, participants will have a unique opportunity to participate in multiple projects while networking with colleagues from around the world. As Katoen Natie is a global logistics provider, with presence in 40 different countries within 5
different continents, our vast opportunities within our industry are endless. This program is characterized by operational assignments in various fields of logistic activities such as inbound and outbound shipments, picking, stocking, packing, and value-added services. After an introductory period, the High Potential will be assigned a key position within the Consumer Goods Business Unit.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language (Bilingual is a plus)
• Work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business
• Ability to plan, execute and complete work with little to no supervision
• A natural leader with the ability to effectively communicate within an extremely diverse environment
• Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Continuous improvement mindset; coachable
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
