Overview

Manager in Training – Team Lead – Greenville, SC – Panera Bread Bakery‑Cafe. You will work in a fast‑paced retail kitchen, guiding associates and ensuring guests receive high quality food, service, and safety while building a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust.
• Coach and motivate associates to exceed goals for sales, speed of service, order accuracy, and café health.
• Train associates on food safety standards and enforce compliance.
• Lead, manage, and develop associates, providing ongoing training and constructive feedback.
• Maintain team energy and engagement, recognizing and celebrating achievements.
• Ensure extraordinary guest experiences by delivering quality food, service, and safety.
• Build long‑term, loyal customer relationships by providing engaging service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 90 days experience at a Panera bakery‑cafe and at least 18 years of age.
• Certified to serve all required positions on either the service or production track.
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and training skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Completed Certified Manager Program (CMP) or ServSafe certification, or able to pass ServSafe.
• Background check clearance and access to the Central System.
• Committed to food safety and health safety standards.
