Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to perform essential duties and work in described conditions.
- Ability to supervise and train staff, including use of equipment and tools.
- Computer skills for report analysis, inventory, cash control, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation for meetings.
- Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Management
- Recruit, hire, and train employees for excellent customer service.
- Manage site cleanliness, stock, and organization.
- Maintain professional image and schedule staff effectively.
- Implement non-discriminatory management practices.
Site Relationships
- Build positive relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote a safe and positive community image.
Training and Development
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Ensure staff training on customer service, safety, and site standards.
Communication
- Ensure timely communication with staff and management.
- Hold regular meetings with staff and managers.
Organizing and Planning
- Develop action plans for site improvement.
- Maintain site files and supervise report completion.
- Ensure proper merchandise display and signage.
Financial
- Analyze sales and expenses to maximize profits.
- Manage budgets and merchandise margins.
- Safeguard financial transactions.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoor work, with outdoor tasks like cleaning.
- Exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
- Work with minimal supervision.
