Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking high-potential individuals for its Manager-in-Training (MIT) program—a 9-week, on-the-job and structured development track that accelerates leadership through mentorship and hands-on operations experience.

You will rotate across core operations, learn safety programs, and develop team leadership, client engagement, and process improvement skills in a dynamic facilities environment.

Qualifications

  • A.A. degree in business management or related field with 2+ years experience; Bachelor's preferred.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus; valid driver’s license often required.
  • Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff are trained on safety requirements and company policies.
  • Develop team performance and coordinate with site leadership on operations.

Education

A.A. Degree in Business Management or related field (2+ years experience); Bachelor's Degree preferred
CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
Bilingual a plus
May require valid driver’s license
Forklift certification may be required

Manager in Training

SBM’s Manager-in-Training (MIT) is a rigorous 9-week program built to develop emerging leaders through on-the-job training and structured professional development.

What You’ll Gain:

Program Details
  • Shift: Days-Variable, weekends/holidays- on call
  • Compensation: $80,168.40
  • Candidates must be able to relocate following program completion.
  • Comprehensive relocation assistance provided.
Qualification

Education and/ or Experience

A.A. Degree required in Business Management, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus Bilingual a plus May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bilingual a plus Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team. Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment. Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use. Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
