Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube in Seattle, WA is seeking a Manager in Training to lead and develop store teammates while ensuring smooth daily operations and a strong guest experience. This role focuses on coaching, training, scheduling and performance management at the store level.

You’ll oversee both computer-based and on-the-job training, enforce safety, attendance and uniform standards, participate in store meetings, and build a winning team through recruiting and retention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience; automotive experience is a plus.
• Experience with and driven results for a profit and loss center.
• Ability to motivate Teammates and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teammates through coaching, training, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Protect store profits via sales, inventory controls and cash handling.
• Recruit, interview, hire and retain a winning team.
• Plan Teammate schedules to cover business needs.
• Model excellent guest service and resolve complaints.
• Maintain building and equipment to ensure safety and readiness.

Join our team as a Manager in Training and lead the way in training and supervising our enthusiastic store teammates! In this dynamic role, you’ll dive into a variety of tasks to ensure our store operates smoothly and efficiently. From overseeing computer-based and on-the-job training to upholding essential policies like attendance, safety, and uniform standards, you’ll be at the forefront of our team’s success. HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:

• Provide store-level leadership to Teammates through coaching, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Manage the financial health of the store through sales, proper inventory/cash controls, store-level marketing, guest satisfaction and full Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Build and develop a winning team using recruiting tools, sound interview techniques and retention strategies.
• Create Teammate work schedules, ensuring proper coverage and business needs are met.
• Set the example for exceptional guest service, to include appropriate resolution of guest complaints.
• Ensure the building, equipment and grounds are well maintained.

UNDER THE HOOD – WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 3+ years of retail management experience; automotive experience is a plus.
• Must have experience with and driven results for a profit and loss center.
• Must be able to motivate and inspire Teammates.
• Communicate effectively with our guests and at all levels within the organization.
