Job summary

Dreamland BBQ in Alabama is seeking energetic servers to provide an exceptional guest experience with Southern hospitality and open pit BBQ traditions. You will join a team that values community, fun, and a positive attitude, with ongoing training and potential for advancement.

Expect to interact with guests, maintain safety and cleanliness, and work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is welcomed but training is available; some lifting and standing are required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to ensure they feel welcomed, important, and appreciated.
• Be attentive to guest needs, concerns, and questions.
• Be committed to teamwork.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work and dining environment.
• Bartenders are responsible for all TOGO order distribution.
• Assist in maintaining effective cost controls including daily and periodic inventory variances.
• Ensure a safe and secure work and dining environment for personnel and guests.
• Ensure all Federal, State and local laws are being complied with at all times.
• Inspect all kitchen surfaces to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Prepare food as directed.
• Season and cook food according to recipes.
• Properly store, date and rotate food items.
• Consult with supervisory staff to plan prep, considering costs and event needs.

Prior experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must have exceptional multitasking skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to lift 25 lbs or more, stand and walk for extended periods of time, able to bend, kneel, and lift tray overhead.
