Job summary

CHC Unified, a Jimmy John’s franchisee, is seeking high-energy individuals for our Manager in Training (MIT) program in Colorado Springs. This fast-track role can lead to Assistant Manager in as little as 60 days with no prior management experience required.

You’ll learn all aspects of restaurant operations, including fast, accurate sandwiches, customer service, shift leadership, and profitability metrics, with growth opportunities into PIC and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Basic computer skills with common office software (Word, Excel, Acrobat).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in restaurant operations during MIT program.
• Assist with running shifts and ensuring fast, accurate service.
• Learn store-level profitability metrics and adherence to standards.
• Lead by example with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Progress to PIC and support daily store operations after training.

We're currently seeking high-energy, motivated individuals to join our team through our Manager in Training (MIT) program. This is a fast-track opportunity to grow into an Assistant Manager role in as little as 60 days—no prior management experience required!

What You’ll Learn: As a Manager in Training, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant operations, including preparing fast, accurate sandwiches with world-class customer service, running clean and efficient shifts, understanding store-level profitability metrics, and leading with a positive, can-do attitude.

Next Step— Person In Charge (PIC): After successfully completing training, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Person In Charge (PIC). PICs help lead daily store operations, ensure the restaurant is clean and running efficiently, coach team members, and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. Strong performance as a PIC leads to advancement opportunities including Assistant Manager and beyond.

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age

Compensation & Benefits:

• Training Period: 40+ hours/week with overtime eligibility and competitive hourly pay
• After Promotion to Assistant Manager: $35,000–$45,000+ annually (based on performance and overtime), performance-based bonuses, health insurance benefits for eligible employees, and Paid Time Off (PTO)
