Job summary

CHC Unified, a Jimmy John’s franchisee, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering fast, accurate sandwiches and leading a high-energy team. This role focuses on daily store operations, staff coaching, and maintaining a spotless, efficient environment.

You will help drive excellent customer service, uphold company procedures, and foster a positive team culture while growing with a rapidly expanding franchise network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a 40-hour week.
• Basic computer knowledge with Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Willing to learn and make fast, accurate sandwiches.
• Willing to complete a 1-week certification program after in-store training.

Are you the next rock star leader we’re looking for? CHC Unified, one of the largest and fastest-growing Jimmy John’s franchisees, owns and operates 25+ locations across 5 states—and we’re growing! We’re looking for someone high‑energy and motivated to join our team as an Assistant Manager. In this key role, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to support the daily execution of store procedures, ensure a clean and efficient work environment, and help drive a culture of excellence. You’ll lead by example, hold the team to high standards, and maintain a positive, high‑energy attitude every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a 40‑hour week
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat)
• Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently
• Open to giving and receiving feedback to improve team performance
• Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks (bending, stooping)
• Willing to learn and make fast, accurate sandwiches
• Willing to complete a 1‑week certification program following in‑store training

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $35,000–$45,000+ annually (based on overtime and performance‑based bonuses)
