Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global food retailer, is seeking a Manager III eCommerce Finance to lead complex financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The role combines strategic transformation with execution to drive impact within eCommerce and Digital.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 in-person days at core locations (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME) and 2 remote days, with eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; 7+ years in Accounting/Finance.
• Advanced Excel/model building.
• Experience preparing exec-level materials.
• AP, BCP.
• Strong sense of urgency, self-starter.
• Ability to break down complex and ambiguous issues, formulating and testing hypothesis, and developing and communicating succinct recommendations.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across various functions and stakeholders.
• Data-driven and leverage insights to make informed decisions.

Overview

The Manager III eCommerce Finance role is a strategic role that provides complex analytical support and owns budget, forecast and reporting process. The role requires broad understanding of the eCommerce and Digital landscape, two critical strategic growth areas for ADUSA. This is a unique opportunity that combines strategic transformation and execution to drive impact.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis until the end of their appointment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the critical issues and opportunities within in eCommerce and Digital.
• Support senior leadership and management to provide a clear understanding of results with key drivers of performance, and actionable insights.
• Pro‑actively identify and develop financial reporting needs of senior leadership and management to help drive appropriate business decisions with relevant risk analysis.
• Ad hoc analysis to evaluate business opportunities/mitigate risks.
• Provide support in identifying, researching, and understanding trends.
• Manage overall process and deliverables of LRP, Budget, Forecasts, Period reporting including maintaining financial models and submission templates.
• Work across functional lines and the business to ensure forecasts, plans, budgets, and financial analyses are accurate, complete and reflect the organization’s operational and financial realities, objectives and initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing processes, forecasting techniques and leverage financial systems to support decision making and understanding of financial results.
• Build robust business cases to evaluate ad‑hoc strategic business questions and category or market expansion opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement competitive data sources to support insights and ongoing processes.
• Develop and deliver advanced reporting tools and dashboards that provide leadership with relevant risk assessments and business insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field with 7+ years of broad experience in Accounting or Finance; or 10+ years of relevant experience familiarity. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Advanced Excel/Model Building.
• Experience preparing exec level materials, effective communicator.
• AP, BCP.
• Strong sense of urgency, self‑starter.
• Ability to break down complex and ambiguous issues, formulating and testing hypothesis, and developing and communicating succinct recommendations.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across various functions and stakeholders.
• Experience operating both tops‑down to support strategic direction and decisions, and bottoms‑up to support execution and optimization.
• Data‑driven and leverage insights to make informed and impactful decisions.
• Adept at storytelling through data to influence business strategy, gain stakeholder buy‑in and drive outcomes.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $120,960 - $181,440

IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $139,120 - $208,680

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
