Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead workforce planning and HR guidance at the Groveport, OH distribution center, while supporting four additional locations.

You will partner with leadership to drive talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced operational environment, implementing HR programs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Manager roles.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried associates in Distribution/Logistics environments.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution and investigations.

We're seeking a strategic HR Manager with proven experience supporting warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations. This individual will drive workforce planning initiatives, develop leadership capability, and provide HR guidance within a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. The role serves as the primary HR leader for our Groveport, OH distribution center while providing support to 4 additional locations.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager. Proven ability to influence, coach, and advise leaders on employee relations, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. Experience supporting both hourly and salaried associate population within a Distribution, Manufacturing, Logistics or similar environment. Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations. Ability to work independently and manage HR priorities across multiple locations and business functions. Experience utilizing HRIS and workforce management systems (Workday, Kronos, UKG)

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Partner with Staffing Department on business employment needs, including recruiting for functional areas of the business. Working directly with business leadership and department management on the development and facilitation of the individual and divisional performance improvement. Responsible for the effective integration of HR policies and procedures during Acquisitions. Build Internal partnerships to aid in the resolution of associate relations issues. Embrace and communicate vision of the organization and group to align workforce. Works in conjunction with business leadership to develop and implement performance management plans. Assess and deliver training and development to limit legal exposure. Support and implement HR policies within the business by acting as the primary point of contact between associates and management. Nature and scope solutions require analysis and investigation. Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience
