Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an experienced HR professional to partner with senior HR leadership, supporting programs across talent management, performance, recruiting, and employee relations. You will drive initiatives, advise leaders, and help streamline processes to strengthen the HR function.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strategic change, and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering effective solutions in a dynamic global organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/HR management/industrial/organizational psychology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years’ progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies/processes/programs.
  • Sense of urgency & drive for results.
  • Critical thinking, analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success executing change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sr. HRBP to support the execution of HR programs & initiatives.
  • Assist in talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, & employee relations.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on behaviors, skills, competencies, including individual & team development, business decision-making, problem-solving, & leadership practices.
  • Support day-to-day HR initiatives to ensure HR is positioned to execute with excellence.
  • Proactively learn & answer basic HR transactional questions – forms to use, people to contact, & ways to increase efficiency for our business.
  • Assist in the identification, development & execution of tools to help leaders manage & develop their own people.
  • Support accountability for employee engagement, including development & execution of action plans.
  • Assist with developing or deploying change to facilitate transition to future state.
  • Effectively prepare leaders to execute change within their departments (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring).
  • Support/Partner as appropriate to ensure opportunities are addressed systemically & consistently.
  • Build/Foster collaborative relationships with all team members & leadership.
  • Support development/execution of all system & program rollouts.

Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION

This role will collaborate with Sr. HRBP to help support the execution of Luxottica HR programs & initiatives such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, & employee relations. Bring fresh thinking to the team, support the development behind strategies, & stay focused on supporting the team & delivering meaningful results.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Utilize consulting process to help team identify associate performance needs/gaps & recommend solutions to address business issues
  • Ensures managers have resources to execute appropriate HR practices, processes, tools, & systems
  • Establish trust/provide guidance as needed to business leaders regarding their behaviors, skills, competencies, including individual & team development, business-decision-making, problem-solving, & general leadership practices
  • Provide support on day-to-day HR initiatives to ensure HR is positioned to execute with excellence
  • Proactively learn & answer basic HR transactional questions – forms to use, people to contact, & ways to increase efficiency for our business
  • Assist in the identification, development & execution of tools to help leaders manage & develop their own people (e.g. individual development plans, performance management, corrective counseling, succession & talent management, & pay-for-performance)
  • Support accountability for employee engagement for the business, including development & execution of action plans

  • Effectively prepare leaders to execute change within their departments (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring, etc.)
  • Support/Partner as appropriate to ensure opportunities are addressed systemically & consistently, with a focus on creating a culture of continuous improvement
  • Build/Foster collaborative relationships with all team members & leadership to stay informed & abreast of new initiatives & business processes
  • Support development/execution of all system & program rollouts
Basic Qualifications
