Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Manager in Jackson, Mississippi to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams and ensure top-quality service for guests.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage budgets and inventory, monitor quality standards, and schedule shifts to meet guest demand while controlling costs. Marriott brand experience is a plus; flexibility with days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ prior experience in a similar position at a hotel.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Pride in providing high-quality service and cleanliness of guest rooms.
• Flexibility with shifts (days, evenings, weekends); Marriott brand experience a plus.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing Each DayAs the Housekeeping Manager, you will be hiring and leading the housekeeping staff to ensure excellent quality of service to our guests. You will provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff in details of work, plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by hotel, which requires continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public space areas including restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, etc.

Manage finances of housekeeping and laundry operations including budget and inventory controls. Analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies etc. in relation to hotel financial forecasts and budget. Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation of the department. Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor and monitor house count and make staffing adjustments accordingly.
