Join to apply for the Manager, Group Sales role at Hilton.

The location for this position is virtual/remote.

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a USA Outbound Group Sales Manager at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya, you will support core areas of Hilton's "commercial engine" and contribute to profitable growth. Reporting to the Director of Group Sales on property, you will work on projects to retain existing clients and secure new Group Sales business for the hotel.

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is vital. Here are some of your fundamental duties:

Customer and Account Management
  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain and grow business.
  • Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events.
  • Create and communicate business plans for designated markets.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business opportunities aligned with hotel objectives.
  • Represent the hotel in all sales interactions, including proposals and contracts.
  • Conduct site inspections tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinate customer specifications via lead management systems, maintaining account information in Delphi FDC.
Prospecting
  • Research and generate new leads through database research and proactive sales efforts.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share from competitors.
  • Engage in outside sales to uncover needs, build relationships, and secure new business.
Negotiations
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and intermediaries.
  • Provide solutions that meet hotel financial goals while strengthening customer relationships.
  • Support the contracting process with Hilton Worldwide Sales and Legal teams as needed.
Collaboration

You will work with in-house hotel-based sales teams, catering, events, and regional teams including Directors of Sales and Area VPs.

Projects
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows globally; a valid Passport is required.
  • Develop market strategies based on hotel and market trends to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in Hotel Group Sales.
  • Three years in luxury Hotel Group Sales.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% internationally.
Preferred Skills
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
