This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a USA Outbound Group Sales Manager - WALDORF ASTORIA RIVIERA MAYA, you will support core areas of Hilton's "commercial engine" and contribute to Hilton's profitable growth. Reporting to the Director of Group Sales on property, you will work on projects to retain existing clients and secure new Group Sales business for the hotel.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is vital, and below are some of the key responsibilities that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:
Customer and Account Management:
  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain and grow business.
  • Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events.
  • Create and communicate business plans for designated markets.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet business objectives.
  • Represent the hotel in customer interactions, including proposals and contracts.
  • Conduct site inspections tailored to customer needs.
  • Manage customer specifications and enter data into the lead management system.
Prospecting:
  • Research and generate new leads through database research and proactive efforts.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Build relationships and win new business through outside sales activities.
Negotiations:
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Provide solutions that meet financial goals and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales and Legal teams as needed.
Collaboration:

Work with internal teams including hotel-based sales, catering, and regional directors to achieve goals.

Projects:
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows globally.
  • Develop market segment strategies and foster new customer relationships.
  • Analyze trends and implement marketing initiatives to maximize revenue.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
Minimum qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience in Hotel Group Sales.
  • Three (3) years in luxury Hotel Group Sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000, based on experience and location. Eligible for participation in the Hilton Bonus Plan.
