Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of supply chain or logistics experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (QAD preferred) and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) and SQL or similar.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
• Inventory management experience preferred.

Job Title: Manager, Global Transportation & LogisticsRole Level: People Manager (PM)Supervisor/Manager Title: Director, Supply Chain ManagementJob Location & Environment: Irvine, CA – Corporate Office / Warehouse AreaJob Description Summary:Responsible for warehouse operations, transportation and logistics planning and tactical tasks to evaluate and optimize shipping lanes and manage high-value inventory required for business operations.Provide business acumen and industry perspective to create broad, competitive strategies and agility for the materials and services portfolio.Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external teams.Own all communication regarding transit data, network design and implementation, and scenario modeling in alignment with the operating strategy.Conduct all business in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.Maintain working relationships with Commercial and Clinical Operations, Production, Quality, Finance and Engineering groups.Job Responsibilities:Directly manage the Warehouse, Transportation and Logistics function to support commercial and clinical efforts in Aortic Regurgitation.Evaluate transit data, manage high-value inventory and shipping lanes to facilitate demand and supply requirements across global manufacturing sites, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.Oversee temperature-controlled shipping lanes and storage to maintain device integrity.Analyze storage layouts and material flow to maximize warehouse efficiency and reduce damages.Track shipments to confirm adherence to regulatory guidelines, international shipping standards, and local customs regulations.Audit freight costs and measure transit metrics to identify reliable, cost-effective logistics partners to optimize resources and maximize working capital.Drive cross-functional alignment to translate business insights into comprehensive, actionable strategies.Analyze performance, accuracy, product movement and value, and product availability.Execute risk mitigation and corrective action plans to manage KPIs.Direct proper utilization of the ERP system and perform timely database maintenance as required. Maintain end-to-end product data to support UDI tracking and quality assurance.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years or experience in supply chain analysis, logistics or equivalent.Experience with ERP systems (strong preference for QAD) and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook), SQL or similar software.Experience in an FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing environment.Inventory management experience is preferred.Skills and Abilities Required for This Job:Strong leadership skills and business partnering ability.Ability to create and manage work plans and timelines.
