Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to provide legal and commercial contract support to the Global Manufacturing & Supply organization.

This hybrid role partners with business stakeholders, negotiates agreements, and enhances contract governance while managing risks. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Counsel, GMS, Indirect Procurement & Canada, the candidate will help develop templates and processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support multiple functions globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of contract management, commercial contracting, or legal operations experience.
• Experience supporting complex commercial agreements in a corporate environment.
• JD is a strong plus.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise GMS teams on commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage NDAs, supply/vendor, equipment purchase, and other contracts.
• Partner with stakeholders to mitigate legal, contractual, and business risks.
• Ensure compliance with anti-bribery, GDPR/CCPA, trade compliance and related rules.
• Develop contract templates, playbooks, policies, and governance.
• Provide day-to-day contract support across functions and projects.
• Maintain contract records, monitor obligations and renewals, and provide dashboards.
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and governance.

Position Summary

Zoetis is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to provide legal and commercial contract support to our Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) organization. This role is ideal for a skilled contracts professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives while managing risk.

Reporting

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Counsel, GMS, Indirect Procurement & Canada, you will serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and operational matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in negotiating agreements, strengthening contract management processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned GMS teams on commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Supply and Vendor Agreements Equipment Purchase Agreements Other commercial and procurement-related contracts
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal, contractual, and business risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including anti-bribery, privacy (GDPR, CCPA), trade compliance, and other relevant requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of contract templates, playbooks, policies, and contract management best practices.
• Provide day-to-day contract support across multiple business functions and projects.
• Maintain contract records and databases, monitor key obligations and renewal timelines, and provide reporting and dashboards to leadership.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and contract governance.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial contracting, procurement support, legal operations, or a related field.
• Experience supporting complex commercial agreements within a corporate environment required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) is a strong plus.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other large multinational organizations is preferred.

• Solid business acumen with the ability to balance legal and commercial considerations.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work arrangement with approximately 50% onsite presence at the Parsippany, NJ headquarters (2-3 days per week).
• Collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 to $150,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.

This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
