Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a senior manager for our West Coast fund administration team. You will oversee private equity client engagements, drive financial reporting, and investor communications with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

You will guide complex fund operations, review journal entries, capital calls, and distributions, and support audits and tax requests while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
• Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, giving you a solid foundation for your work.

• Apply expertise to support complex fund operations and drive high-quality outcomes.

Job Description

As a senior manager on our fund administration team, you’ll work directly with leading private equity clients, supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications under the guidance of our experienced team. You’ll oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations and financials, manage audits, train junior staff, and drive process improvements across multiple engagements.

This is a West Coast based position that can be fully remote.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed.
• You’ll apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
• You’ll prepare and review key financial components like journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
• You’ll manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving operational processes.
• You’ll prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support team development and efficiency.

• You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, giving you a solid foundation for your work.
