Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Manager for our fund administration team in a hybrid US setting. You will oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations, and support financial reporting and investor communications.

The role requires deep experience in private equity or related fields and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. You will mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with audits and tax teams to ensure high-quality outcomes for private equity

Qualifications

  • Over five years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional client service, building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Apply expertise to support complex fund operations and drive high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships across multiple funds, ensuring expectations and timelines are met.
  • Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations and investor communications.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics (IRR).
  • Manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while improving processes.
  • Train junior team members and prioritize tasks to support team development.

As a senior manager on our fund administration team, you’ll work directly with leading private equity clients, supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications under the guidance of our experienced team. You’ll oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations and financials, manage audits, train junior staff, and drive process improvements across multiple engagements.

What you’ll do
  • You’ll lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed.
  • You’ll apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
  • You’ll prepare and review key financial components like journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
  • You’ll manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving operational processes.
  • You’ll prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support team development and efficiency.

  • The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($88,000-$120,000).
  • You bring over five years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.

  • You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, giving you a solid foundation for your work.
