Job summary

Aypa Power is seeking a Manager, FP&A Systems & Planning Technology to lead the administration, enhancement, and strategic development of the company’s financial planning systems, focused on Workday Adaptive Planning.

You will own the architecture, governance, and evolution of our planning environment and partner with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, and IT to enable scalable forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, or a related field.
• 5+ years in financial systems, FP&A, or finance technology roles.
• 3+ years hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience governing data integrity and model accuracy.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented with strong problem solving.
• Excellent communication translating technical concepts for business.
• Ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and IT.
• Experience in renewable energy, private equity, or related capital environments preferred.

AypaPower is seeking a Manager, FP&A Systems & Planning Technology to lead the administration, enhancement, and strategic development of the company’s financial planning systems, with primary responsibility for Workday Adaptive Planning.

This role will serve as the platform owner and subject matter expert for Adaptive Planning, overseeing the architecture, governance, and evolution of Aypa’s financial planning environment. The position will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, and IT to ensure our planning systems enable scalable forecasting, reporting, and financial decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning expertisewith financial systems architectureexperience, andthrives in environments where systems must scale alongside a rapidly growing infrastructure platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the system owner and primary administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning, including architecture, metadata, security, and governance;
• Design and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and reporting to support company-wide planning and analysis;
• Own and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization;
• Develop scalable self-service reporting and analytics capabilities for finance leadership and executive stakeholders;
• Define and maintain financial planning system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity;
• Manage system configuration and integrations, including calculated accounts, versions, security, and data pipelines;
• Develop and execute the FP&A planning technology roadmap, driving automation, enhancements, and continuous improvement;
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable system solutions;
• Lead user enablement, documentation, training, and ongoing system support to ensure strong adoption and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A systems administration, or finance technology roles;
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including model design, reporting, dashboards, security, and data integrations;
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes;
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling;
• Experience managing financial systems governance, data integrity, and model accuracy;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders;
• Proven ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and technology teams;
• Experience in renewable energy, private equity, or similar capital-intensive investment environments is preferred.

Compensation and Location

Salary:A base salary commensurate with experience;
Bonus:An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the overall success of the business;
