Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks a Manager, Financial Reporting to lead and develop the Financial Reporting team, ensuring accurate quarterly and annual statements and related disclosures. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and external auditors to support evolving reporting needs.

The role emphasizes process improvements, internal controls, and technology utilization across Workiva, OneStream, Oracle Fusion, and Excel, with a hybrid schedule (Mon-Thu in office, Fri remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, and/or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting systems.
• Demonstrated project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and inspire Financial Reporting team members.
• Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
• Review financial reporting analytics and provide insights on variances.
• Oversee audit support, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and internal controls.
• Deliver training on financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for strategic transactions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimization and system enhancements.
• Oversee usage of Workiva, OneStream, Oracle Fusion, and Excel.
