Job summary

Invenergy, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Manager of Financial Reporting to lead the team responsible for quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and footnotes, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance.

The role partners with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and external auditors and drives process improvement through automation and new systems. The position offers a hybrid work schedule (office Mon-Thu, remote Fri) with a competitive base salary and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/financial systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Financial Reporting team.
• Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosures.
• Review financial reporting analytics and analyze fluctuations and trends.
• Oversee audit support schedules and disclosure documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits and interim reviews.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Deliver training on financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on strategic initiatives affecting reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through processes, automation, and system enhancements.
• Oversee Workiva, OneStream, Oracle Fusion, and Excel in reporting consolidation.
