The MetroHealth System in Ohio is seeking a finance leader to oversee the monthly close and ensure high-quality financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and GASB/FASB. The role requires CPA, a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, and extensive accounting/management experience.
You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with executives to optimize controls and efficiencies while upholding the system’s mission and standards.

Leads assigned staff through the monthly close process, including issuing annual audited financial statements. Ensures that financial statements and financial reporting are of high quality through attention to detail, the use of analytical tools, and technical guidance. Ensures that financial reporting is completed in an accurate/timely manner, and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) standards. Provides leadership/mentoring to management and staff. Makes recommendations to senior leadership for policy enhancements to ensure optimal controls and efficiencies. Manages relationships with suppliers of goods and services to The MetroHealth System. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
