Job summary

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company and is for a Manager, Financial Reporting based in the United States. You will lead financial reporting and technical accounting under U.S.

GAAP, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and other external reporting requirements. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing audited financial statements and researching complex technical accounting matters.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex accounting issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional leadership teams and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Oversee external reporting requirements, including debt-holder reporting and covenant compliance.
• Prepare financial reporting materials and analyses for executive leadership, the Audit Committee, and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and automation initiatives.
• Research complex accounting matters and develop well-supported accounting conclusions.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and documentation supporting significant accounting judgments.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and lead implementation of new U.S. GAAP requirements.
• Advise leadership on accounting implications of debt financings, capital markets activities, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
• Support hedge accounting activities and disclosures under ASC 815.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors on financial reporting and technical accounting matters.
• Maintain accounting policies and documentation supporting key accounting positions and judgments.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, and other stakeholders on reporting and strategic matters.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting based in the United States.

This role leads financial reporting and technical accounting activities within a growing organization. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and other external reporting requirements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The position also serves as a key advisor on complex accounting matters, strategic transactions, and evolving reporting requirements. You will work closely with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and external auditors. The role offers the opportunity to strengthen reporting processes, introduce scalable improvements, and support future capital markets initiatives. You will also lead and develop team members while contributing to a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated experience preparing audited financial statements and researching complex technical accounting matters.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex accounting issues, develop well-supported conclusions, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional leadership teams and external auditors.
• Preferred: experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm.
• Preferred: experience supporting public company or public debt reporting requirements.
• Preferred: experience with debt financing transactions, capital markets activities, or bond offerings.
• Preferred: experience in a SaaS or high-growth business environment.
• Preferred: experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP platform.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach and develop accounting professionals.
