University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analytics within the Intercollegiate Athletics department. The role focuses on accurate financial planning, internal controls, and workforce analysis to support the CFO and leadership.
You will develop financial models, manage budget processes, and oversee student staff scheduling while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. On-site work and occasional travel are required.
Additional hours will be required to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel is required. This job is not suitable for remote work and is expected to work regular on-site hours. This position is designated as an Administrative and Professional and serves without a fixed term and at the pleasure of the President, pursuant to the University\'s Handbook of Operation Procedures 5-1230, "Appointment and Term of Appointment for Administrative Professionals".
Under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director, Finance, this individual will serve as a point-of-contact for financial planning and internal control functions within the Department of Athletics. The Manager will be responsible for the appropriate, accurate and timely treatment of obligations in accordance with the University\'s Handbook of Business Procedures (HBP) and internal Policies and Procedures governed by the Athletics Department\'s Leadership Team.
Support the Athletic Department at home events/contests in support of our strategic plans and goals.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
