AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Manager of Finance Planning Systems (BPC/SAC) to lead the development and maintenance of SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions, enabling robust planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple business functions.

You will partner with finance and stakeholders to deliver timely, reliable insights for decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, deep finance knowledge, and a track record of process improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple business functions.
• Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improve processes.
• Understanding /Acumen of Finance with strong knowledge in planning, forecasting, accounting close process.
• SAP BPC experience required.
• Knowledge of SAP Settlement processes required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels.
• Ability to understand the needs of the various business teams to appropriately plan for growth and change.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including innovative and creative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and be goal oriented, as well as work as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Manager, BPC/SAC reports to the Associate Director and is responsible for supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple business functions. This role partners with Finance and functional stakeholders to enhance financial processes, develop and maintain SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions, and deliver timely, reliable insights to support business planning and decision-making.

Key areas of Focus

• Support finance planning teams to facilitate continuous improvement efforts towards the planning, forecasting and long-range plan.


• Participate in ongoing development projects with requirements gathering, technical design, development, reconciliation, system testing, User acceptance testing, and cutover to Production.


• Requires strong understanding of the financial planning and consolidation process as well as requirements for management reporting.


• Continuously and proactively improve the environment to enrich experience by contributing to training documentation and support for end users.


• Develop, maintain, and improve documentation on key business processes and procedures in compliance with Internal control policies.


• Support automation of processes with current and future application flows. Send downstream system monthly corporate adjustment files for tie to final monthly, quarterly consolidation.


• Support of SAP BPC/SAC planning, including sourcing actuals, reconciling and data analytics.


• Test technical patches, upgrades, and system/application migrations.


• Support financial planning activities including understanding of Employee FTE & Contractor, Internal order and WBS Reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, or Accounting preferred.


• 7+ years of experience withplanning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple business functions.
