Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Manager of Finance to oversee capital planning and long-range planning, owning key financial planning processes including rolling forecasts and annual operating and capital plans.

You will lead analyses, ROI calculations, and support web-based planning tools; build cross-functional relationships and mentor the Finance team. Strong communication with senior leaders is required, with healthcare financial planning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• High school diploma or GED is not applicable for this role – Bachelor’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Healthcare financial planning experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost accounting tools.

The Manager of Finance will oversee capital planning and long-range planning, and is heavily involved in the operational budget. This position will take ownership of key financial planning processes, including the long-range financial plan, monthly financial plan, rolling quarterly forecast, annual operating and capital plans, and Pillar plans. The Manager Finance will lead financial analyses for existing and proposed programs, prepare ROI calculations for capital projects, and manage special financial initiatives.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Applicants for this position should demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills.
  
• High school diploma or GED is required.
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field is strongly preferred.
  
• Six (6) or more years of experience in accounting and/or finance,
  
• Healthcare financial planning with emphasis on capital planning is strongly preferred.
  
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial systems and cost accounting tools.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  
• Proficiency in Power BI preferred.
  
• Proven ability to communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior leaders.
