Job summary

Conair LLC, a leading designer and marketer of personal care and small appliances, seeks a Finance Manager, FP&A to drive strategic insights through data analytics, automation, and modeling. You will partner across functions to elevate forecasting, planning, and performance reporting, shaping smarter corporate decisions.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled data tools, system optimization, and hands-on leadership of analytics initiatives, with on-site responsibilities in Stamford, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization (Power BI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting by consolidating global divisions and evaluating risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and visuals to drive business actions.
• Maintain and enhance the Adaptive Insights FP&A system ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Design and deliver dashboards and self-serve financial tools using Power BI.
• Partner with IT and Data teams to improve data architecture and accessibility of financial data.
• Improve forecasting and decision-making using AI tools to highlight trends and insights for leadership.
• Provide financial support for ROI analyses and investment decisions.
• Assist executive/board-level presentations with financial storytelling.
• Mentor junior analysts on analytics best practices and Excel/BI usage.

Position Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking Finance Manager, FP&A to drive strategic insights through advanced data analytics, automation, and financial modeling. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional FP&A practices with an enhanced ability to harness technology, optimize systems, and apply AI and data tools to elevate forecasting, planning, and performance reporting. You will play a key role in transforming how the Finance function uses data—partnering cross-functionally to drive smarter, faster decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by consolidating global divisions, reviewing results and evaluating business risks and opportunities.


• Translate complex data into clear insights and visualizations that drive business action.


• Maintain and enhance the FP&A system - Adaptive Insights- ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.


• Design and deliver dynamic dashboards and self-serve financial tools using Power BI platform


• Partner with IT and Data teams to define and improve data architecture, ensuring reliable, accessible, and well-structured financial data sets.


• Improve forecasting and decision-making by using AI tools to streamline data review, highlight trends, and deliver clearer insights and analysis to leadership.


• Provide financial support for business cases, ROI analysis, and investment decision-making.


• Support executive and board-level presentations with high-impact financial storytelling.


• Mentor junior analysts on analytics best practices and advanced Excel/BI tool usage.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.


• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.


• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.


• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Forecast Reporting Tools, ideally Adaptive Insights.


• Background in a manufacturing or consumer products environment.

Environmental Factors

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.


• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.


• Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.


• Occasional travel required as needed.
