Siemens Energy, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a senior leader to head the newly established Field Service Project Controls Group within Outage Controls & Support.
You will develop standardized project control methodologies, oversee financials, scheduling, and risk management for field service outage projects across North America. This role emphasizes mentoring a team of project control professionals, driving governance, and consolidating status information for senior leadership.
Join our innovative Gas Services division as the leader of the newly established Field Service Project Controls Group within the Outage Controls & Support organization! In this vital management role, you will provide essential oversight and governance for field service outage projects across North America. You will focus on developing and implementing standardized project control methodologies, leading and mentoring a team of project control specialists, and overseeing financial, scheduling, and risk management aspects of our service project portfolio. Develop, implement, and maintain standardized project control methodologies, best practices, and templates for the Field Service organization.
Establish and manage a governance framework to monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project control processes and tools.
Mentor and develop a team of experienced project control professionals, managing performance and fostering professional growth.
Oversee the consolidation of project status information, financial data, and schedules for reporting to senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, or in a Program Management Office (PMO) role.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Primavera P6 Professional certification would be highly preferred.
Experience in the energy, power generation, or industrial field service industry is highly preferred.
Strong capabilities in team leadership, financial acumen, and stakeholder management.
Willing to travel 20% domestically.
