Overview:

Join SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, where stability meets innovation. We’re seeking a Field Property Claims Manager to navigate complex claims, drive business goals, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has expertise in mitigation techniques, estimating practices, and leadership, ensuring claims meet carrier standards while optimizing team performance.

What you’d be doing:

  • Review field claim files to ensure estimates meet quality standards, regulatory compliance, and accuracy, including proper coverage application, recommended scope of repairs, and adherence to estimating guidelines.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of independent contractors dedicated to the estimate review process, including performance management, training, coaching, and administrative oversight.
  • Develop and continuously refine estimate review standards and processes, incorporating current guidelines and best practices while promoting operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage the automated quality assurance platform, using daily or weekly trend reports to identify and address recurring issues proactively.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) daily to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and cycle time targets are consistently met.
  • Lead targeted recruitment and onboarding efforts to scale the estimate review team in response to catastrophic events or surges in claim volume.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of property claims field experience, including 2+ years in estimate review, quality control, or leadership.
  • Extensive experience with CoreLogic products, including Workspace, Estimate, and Validate platforms.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in major data analytics platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction and repair methodologies.
  • Meets licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in catastrophe claims handling, leadership, or coordination.
  • Strong process development, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and professional designations.
  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) or similar mitigation certifications.
  • Experience in claims adjusting or quality audits focused on estimate accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible environment.

About the Claims team at SageSure:

On SageSure’s Claims team, you’ll be doing more than investigating and resolving losses. From the ground up, you’ll be pioneering a best-in-class claims handling approach that leverages transformative technology to support our customers, agents, and employees. As a part of this customer-focused, process-oriented team you will be the face of SageSure, helping our policyholders through some of their most trying times. Whether you hold a formal leadership role or are a key team player, you’ll coach, mentor, and engage with those around you in ways that bring out the best in people and effect change. You can easily distill complex processes in ways those outside the industry can understand and know the importance of aligning communication tools to customer preferences. You thrive on setting and exceeding expectations, and know building relationships, not completing transactions, is the heart of the insurance business.
