Job summary

Pernod Ricard USA seeks a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to drive state-level activation and market execution in Seattle and beyond. You will align with Sales, Distributor partners, Brand, and Commercial teams to shape local campaigns that translate national programs into actionable tactics.

You will own A&P budgeting, plan development, and the execution of events, sponsorships, and activations to maximize ROI, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–10 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in beverage/alcohol.
  • Experience developing local activation strategies and driving commercial planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead state-level marketing strategy, annual planning, and activation across designated markets to support sales and distributor partners.
  • Translate national programs and priority periods to the market level, ensuring execution focus aligned with Sales Leads and Distributor teams.
  • Develop and oversee execution plans and playbooks aligned to brand guidelines, optimizing for local needs.
  • Capture, synthesize, and communicate market insights to support annual brand planning and program briefings.
  • Support large-scale brand events, sponsorships, and activations to deliver ROI.
  • Lead agency briefing for local market activities including sampling programs and large-scale activations.

The salary range for this role, based in Seattle is $111,400.00 to $139,200.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic Field Marketing Manager to drive market‑level activation excellence, commercial alignment, and insights‑led growth across assigned geographies. In this role, you will develop and execute state‑level marketing strategies, optimize A&P investment, and collaborate closely with Sales, Distributor partners, Brand, and Commercial teams. You will shape local market execution, champion commercial priorities, and serve as the voice of the market to ensure programs land with maximum impact. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence brand performance at scale while delivering meaningful local market wins.

What you’ll do
  • Lead state‑level marketing strategy, annual planning, and activation across designated markets to support sales and distributor partners.
  • Translate national programs and priority periods clearly at the market level, ensuring execution focus is aligned with Sales Leads and Distributor teams.
  • Develop and oversee execution plans and playbooks aligned to brand guidelines, optimizing for local needs, including regional chains.
  • Capture, synthesize, and communicate market insights through feedback loop to support annual brand planning and master program briefing processes.
  • Support large‑scale brand events, sponsorships, and activations to deliver brand visibility and ROI.
  • Own Corporate Partnership execution within assigned markets leveraging assets to drive programming in‑stadium and within the on and off premise. Partner with local team on recaps to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead agency briefing for local market activities including sampling programs, event execution and large scale activations
Annual A&P Planning & Budget Management
  • Lead market‑level A&P budget development in partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate and brand strategies.
  • Own A&P management, tracking, reconciliation for assigned markets ensuring plan is delivered on budget.
  • Optimize investment across states based on market dynamics while balancing national priorities.
Customer / Distributor Sell Decks & Communication
  • Communicate market activities via playbooks & program sell sheets; localize customer and distributor sell decks & sell sheets to include program objectives, relevant insights, media support and other key information.
  • Present program priorities at key distributor forums including Kickoffs, GSMs, and select QBRs to drive alignment and activation.
  • Define commercial objectives for all programs and manage post‑program evaluation, including ROI readouts.
  • Champion and scale best practices across the commercial ecosystem to drive consistency and effectiveness.
Market Intelligence & Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the voice of the market by sharing insights, performance feedback, and growth opportunities with Brand, Channel, Commercial, and Leadership Teams.
  • Translate field feedback into recommendations to inform national program development and evolution.
  • Champion simplification by identifying and eliminating process friction.

Required qualifications
