Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager to join the Federal Advisory practice in Washington, DC, focusing on data visualization leadership and dashboard development for government clients. You will lead teams, define visualization strategy, and ensure high-quality deliverables across Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik.

The role requires deep experience in data visualization, project leadership, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of data visualization development experience; U.S. Federal government consulting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, and related visualization tools.
• Experience managing projects: scope, timelines, delegation, risks.
• Experience with data analysis and ETL tools (SQL, Python, SAS, R).
• Experience overseeing staff, mentoring, on-the-job training, quality control.
• Ability to travel to support engagements.
• U.S. Government Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the development of data-driven visualizations and dashboards
• Provide oversight, scoping, technical assistance, and quality control over the development dashboards / visualizations with commonly used visualization software (e.g. - Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
• Lead discussions with senior clients to define visualization, reporting strategy, and gather requirements for dashboards
• Prepare date for dashboards using basic ETL and data processing methods
• Develop documentation / guides for dashboard usage and maintenance
• Identify opportunities for visualization / reporting enhancements and develop execution approaches / strategies

Qualifications

• Experience developing visualizations / dashboards utilizing Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, and other commonly used visualization software
• Experience managing projects including establishing scope, setting timelines, delegating assignments, and managing project risks
• Experience with tools for data analysis and ETL (e.g. - SQL, Python, SAS, R)
• Experience overseeing technical staff, mentoring, providing on the job training, and quality control
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
• Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
