Job description

Job Purpose:

Planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating, and controlling the activities of the Engineering Department. This includes maintaining the hospital's physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds to ensure they are in operative and safe working condition. The role also involves ensuring compliance with hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to assigned projects.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Education: High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required. A college degree or equivalent in Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum Experience: Ten years of experience in a related engineering setting, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
3. Licensure/Certification: None required by law.
