Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping operations across hospital facilities, clinics, and on-campus sites. You will ensure a safe, compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors, with accountability for soiled linen, refuse management, and infection control.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of management experience, and preferred education of an Associate’s degree.

Position Details:

This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors, in compliance with regulatory standards. Accountable for housekeeping processes and performance in the hospital, medical office building, and other facilities on campus (limited accountability in parking garages). Accountable for soiled linen collection, refuse management, and infection control.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent.
Experience: Prior EVS management experience.
