Ahold Delhaize USA, part of a global food retailer, seeks a seasoned Environmental Compliance Leader to manage environmental programs across ADUSA facilities. You will monitor emissions, waste and regulatory changes, steering continuous improvement across multiple sites and functions.
The role demands strong project management, regulatory knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Manage and ensure environmental compliance programming across all ADUSA Supply Chain and non-retail locations. This includes programming to meet environmental obligations under CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act-Storm Water, EPCRA, TSCA, FIFRA and NESHAPS's Clean Air Act. The position will develop and implement programs, policies and procedures to ensure distribution centers and non-retail facilities are compliant with state and federal environmental laws and regulations. This position is responsible for the execution of environmental programming, monitoring changes in laws and regulations and leading a team of environmental professionals.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
Competencies :
Experience: 5+ years of environmental and safety compliance experience, preferably with a national distribution or retail company. Experience with a wide range of environmental and safety issues including those related to waste management, water/wastewater/stormwater, air quality, hazardous substances, environmental sustainability, safety and OSHA.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field or any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $138,960
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $106,480- $159,720
