University of Central Florida seeks a Manager, Data Platforms within University Operations to lead enterprise data, integration, automation, and AI platform services. You will direct a team supporting Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Informatica, Power Platform, Copilot, Gemini, SQL Server, and MariaDB, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading enterprise data platforms, analytics, BI, or data engineering in large organizations.
• Proven expertise with modern cloud data technologies and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Data Platforms team, including workload management and evaluations.
• Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise data, integration, automation, and AI platforms.
• Oversee platform availability, capacity planning, monitoring, backups, patches, and readiness activities.
• Manage service requests and incidents through ServiceNow and maintain service levels.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to support platform initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to change management, testing standards, security controls, and data governance.
• Support administration and delivery of enterprise AI/automation platforms and promote automation-first practices.
• Develop operational reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Serve as escalation point for service-impacting issues.
