Mass Digital Health is seeking an experienced software release and project manager in Waltham, MA to lead multi-team releases, coordinate roadmaps, and oversee integrations with third-party systems. The role requires guiding both onshore and offshore engineers through the SDLC and security remediation activities.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in CS or Engineering and at least 3 years leading technical teams, with strong REST, microservices, and OAuth/SAML/JWT/SSO expertise.
Positions Duties:
Deliver the scheduled releases, functionality, and updates on expected schedule with scope as determined with Product and Release Management. Closely collaborate with Architects and Product Management to define and drive the product road map and manage project timelines. Manage third party hardware and software integrations. Manage compatibility and interoperability considerations with product upgrades including integration with third party products. Manage several onshore and offshore software engineers. Manage software engineer resource assignment and allocation. Organize and coordinate activities with architects, technical leads, Quality Engineering, and Release Management to meet release goals. Manage, coordinate, and drive technical aspects and integration of projects across cross organizational product and delivery teams. Review and remediate security vulnerabilities and exposures and manage the Incident Response process.
Telecommuting permitted 40% of time (2 days per week). 10% US travel required.

Salary: $176,987 to $257,600 per year Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or a substantially similar position. Required experience must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: leading and managing technical teams; executing software development life cycle and bringing products to market; Client-Server architecture; Micro-services architecture; Distributed large-scale systems; Object Oriented design; REST APIs; HTML and Web Application development; OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSO, C# or C++, Java and Java open-source frameworks; and Agile methodology.
