Job summary

PMI (Project Management Institute) in the United States seeks a Manager, Engagement & Enablement to activate PMI's thought leadership through people, partnerships, and platforms. • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (communications, business, public policy, international relations, or related field).
• 7+ years of experience in engagement, partnerships, enablement, stakeholder management, or thought leadership-related roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing external relationships, partnerships, or contributor networks.
• Experience designing and delivering events, programs, or executive-facing engagements.
• Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations or global environments.
• Experience leading teams or project-based contributors across geographies.
• Familiarity with project management, sustainability, AI, or professional services domains a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with a systems-level view of engagement and activation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence without authority across functions and regions
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong organizational and portfolio management skills
• Confident facilitator and presenter with executive presence
• Collaborative, diplomatic, and externally oriented
• Fluent in English (PMI's business language), fluency in other languages strongly preferred
