Job Description

As a Manager in the Energy Credit Syndications Group on the Development & Community Advisory team, you will work with experienced energy transaction and investor syndication specialists to develop energy projects and deploy capital, growing Baker Tilly’s tax credit syndications practice. This role requires extensive knowledge of asset funding within the renewable energy industry and experience in investment banking or financial advisory to develop strategies and communicate effectively with clients. The work is complex and varied, requiring independent judgment and discretion.

What You Will Do
  • Engage new clients and maintain existing relationships
  • Lead client acquisition efforts and close new business deals
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Participate in capital raising processes and manage relationships with institutional funding parties in the clean energy sector
  • Manage market activities to secure favorable terms for clients
  • Support internal operations to ensure excellent client experience
  • Represent Baker Tilly at industry events and in professional organizations
  • Collaborate with advisory teams to leverage expertise in clean energy and tax credit industries
  • Manage projects including planning, timelines, and budgets
  • Execute special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field
  • MBA or master’s degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy finance, with a proven track record in transactions and syndication
  • Experience in structuring and deploying capital from institutional and high-net-worth investors
  • Leadership experience in the clean energy or finance industries
  • Expertise in transaction structures for monetizing tax credits
  • High ethical standards, teamwork, and excellence
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed
  • Salary range: $124,910 to $270,620, depending on skills and location
