Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and monitor Emergency Department patient care services.
  • Provide clinical oversight and quality improvement monitoring.
  • Educate clinical staff and monitor competency; supervise orientation.
  • Follow up with Datix – adverse event monitoring tool.
  • Anticipate department staffing needs on a daily basis.
  • Edit payroll and regularly perform customer service rounds.

Shift Details

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, from an accredited educational institute, or in process and completed within 3 years of hire into position.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or Business
  • Upon hire: ACLS, PALS (must be AHA accredited)
  • Upon hire: TNCC Instructor status, or ability to achieve
  • A RN with 20 years of experience will not be required to obtain a BSN.
  • 2 years experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
