Job summary

Prudential Annuities Distributors (PAD) is seeking a Manager, Email Operations & Execution to lead enterprise email marketing and lifecycle communications. This role reports to the Director, Email & Marketing Automation and manages a team responsible for translating email strategy into scalable, compliant execution.

  • Working knowledge of email platforms, lifecycle marketing, audience segmentation, QA, and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in complex, matrixed marketing organizations.

Job Classification: Marketing & Communications - Marketing The Manager, Email Operations & Execution is responsible for leading the operational delivery of enterprise email marketing and lifecycle communications. Reporting to the Director, Email & Marketing Automation, this role manages the team responsible for translating email strategy into efficient, scalable, and compliant execution.

This leader oversees campaign execution, workflow management, quality assurance, operational governance, and continuous process improvement. The role partners closely with Email Strategy & Business Partnership, Email Audience & Programs Strategy, and Marketing Automation Platform teams to ensure email programs are delivered with accuracy, consistency, and measurable business impact.

What You Will Do:
Email Operations & Campaign Delivery
  • Lead the execution of email campaigns, lifecycle programs, and automated communications across business units.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with business requirements and operational standards.
  • Oversee campaign readiness, deployment processes, quality assurance, and post-launch support.
  • Drive consistency and operational excellence across all email execution activities.
Operational Governance & Process Management
  • Establish and maintain scalable workflows, execution standards, and quality controls.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing, brand, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
  • Continuously improve processes that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance execution quality.
  • Partner with Email Audience & Programs and Martech product owner teams to support process optimization and automation opportunities.
Team Leadership & Resource Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Email Operations & Execution team.
  • Manage workload prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery planning across projects and business priorities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Build team capabilities and delivery capacity through effective use of internal talent, external partners, and scalable operational support models.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Support
  • Partner with strategy, audience & programs, Martech platforms, creative, and analytics teams to translate marketing objectives into executable programs.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, dependencies, and operational recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support alignment between strategic planning and execution to ensure successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner across the Email & Marketing Automation organization.
What You Will Bring:
  • Strong experience in email marketing, marketing automation, campaign operations, or digital marketing execution.
  • Experience building, leading, and scaling campaign delivery or marketing operations teams, including management of internal staff, external partners, and flexible delivery resources.
  • Working knowledge of email platforms, lifecycle marketing, audience segmentation, quality assurance, and operational workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, improve processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within complex, matrixed marketing organizations.

What we offer you:
  • Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
  • The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00.
  • Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
  • Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
