Job Summary
The Manager, Electrical Engineering is responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering functions, ensuring high-quality designs and execution. This role will be responsible for developing engineering designs up to 30% completion, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in electrical engineering and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and serving as a key technical resource for procurement and construction teams. Additionally, they will coordinate with third-party electrical engineering contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and operation.

The Manager, Electrical Engineering will be based in Chicago, IL and may work in a hybrid arrangement with a combination of in-office and remote work. The position requires regular travel (up to 25%) to development and construction sites. The Manager, Electrical Engineering must be able to physically navigate and work within construction site environments.
