Job description

Con Edison is seeking a proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented sustainability professional to support the development and execution of the companys environmental sustainability strategy and roadmap. This role will help advance the integration of sustainability into planning, engineering, construction, operations, and corporate decision-making while driving initiatives that improve environmental performance across the organization.

The successful candidate will work across multiple business units to develop and implement sustainability programs, strengthen governance and performance management processes, support sustainable infrastructure initiatives, participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) project review processes, and embed environment, health safety, and sustainability considerations into both capital project delivery and operational practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how sustainability is integrated into the planning, design, construction, and operation of critical energy infrastructure while advancing the companys broader environmental, health, and safety objectives.
