Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking an Education Manager in Long Beach, CA. This hands-on supervisor will coach Instructors and drive improvements in enrollments, retention, and profitability while upholding top-tier educational standards.

You will lead a team, develop curricula, mentor students, and ensure safety and quality in all classrooms. This role emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and delivering exceptional education experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• ASEs or Master Certification for taught courses, or post-secondary credential from UTI or similar, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with valid diploma.
• 5 years of prior teaching and/or management experience.

• Hands-On Training: lead by example with practical demonstrations for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing systems.

Overview

Responsibilities

Quaifications

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor Degree preferred
• UTI - Lisle only: ASEs for course(s) to be taught, or Master Certification for course(s) to be taught, or post-secondary education credential from UTI or similar credential to what UTI confers, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree, and valid High School diploma or GED.
• 5 years prior teaching and/or management experience

• May required occasional overnight travel.

Work Environment

• Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
• Work is performed occasionally outdoors
• Work is infrequently performed near moving mechanical parts
• Short periods of limited exposure to non-hazardous levels of dust, light welding fumes or airborne particles.
