Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Drafting/Designing Manager to lead multiple complex engineering programs and drive profitability. You will develop methodologies, monitor progress, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience, strong CAD/GIS proficiency, and the ability to work with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience in GIS, geography, urban planning, or CS.
• Experience leading engineering programs with attention to accuracy, timeliness and profitability.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and CAD workflows is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple high-impact engineering programs, ensuring goals for accuracy, timeliness, and profitability.
• Develop and implement program-specific methodologies and tracking systems to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve conflicts.
• Analyze and interpret complex data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve outcomes.
• Maintain and organize program documentation with data integrity and accessibility.
• Utilize Google Sheets or Excel to present data insights and track performance metrics.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science) or 5+ years’ related experience
• Proficient in the use of hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, O-calc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
