The Manager, Donor Experience supports the Harlem Lacrosse Development Team to make the work more efficient and effective - specifically focusing on three core areas: (1) Donor Qualification, (2) Direct Fundraising and Stewardship, and (3) Development Operations. • In partnership with portfolio owners, create capacity by actively communicating with donors who we want to continue to engage, but may not be prioritized at the top of portfolio owners’ lists.
  • Conduct pipeline analysis and prospect research to identify new potential donors and funding partners.
  • Use tools, resources, creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify new donors and to assess who we are not yet talking to but should be.
  • Write donor profiles and push them out to portfolio owners.
Direct Fundraising and Stewardship - 30%
  • Deliver on a portfolio of donors in support of all five regions, including donor profiles such as scholarship programs, other “in honor of” programs, and small grants across all regions.
  • Support for Associate Boards across all five regions and nationally.
Development Operations - 20%
  • Collaborate with the Operations team and individual portfolio owners to ensure that donor information, donation tracking, and donor data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support Development team members by ensuring all donor prospect and campaign information is kept up to date in Trello, and is aligned with information in CiviCRM (our project and customer relationship management software respectively).
  • Assist members of the Development team in preparing donor correspondence including letters, invoices, reports, pledges, commitment follow through, and other relevant materials to support donor engagement and stewardship.
  • Track and share portfolio analytics, donor performance, and other performance metrics.
  • Provide staffing support for national fundraising events such as the Annual Benefit and Golf Events, as needed.
  • Maintain shared Development team resources such as the grant attachment folder and other Development files on the Drive.
